All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This agreement outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance information, applicable charges, and your responsibilities related to the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle requires:
- To rent a vehicle in Blackpool, drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old, though age restrictions may vary based on vehicle type and may incur additional fees for those under 25. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category is required, as well as identification and proof of current address. Additionally, valid payment information and a security deposit must be provided, along with any other requirements outlined in the Rental Agreement.
3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be made via our website, by phone, or directly at our Blackpool office. A booking deposit may be necessary to confirm your reservation. The balance and a security deposit are usually required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept all major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Blackpool, a thorough inspection is required to identify and report any pre-existing damage. A vehicle condition report will be created and signed to document its state. When returning the vehicle, it must be in the same condition as when it was collected, considering normal wear and tear. Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ depending on your booking type and the notice provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows might incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or allowing unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Usage must align with the vehicle's intended purpose, and passengers or weight must not exceed specified limits. Driving beyond the agreed geographical area without prior consent is also prohibited.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Blackpool will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount you paid in the prior 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts in this region.
